Fish Diary ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application Fish Diary (the "Application").

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Voluntarily

• Pond & Farm Data: Names of ponds, dimensions, fish species stocked, stocking dates, water quality parameter inputs (pH, Ammonia, Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen), and feed records. Stored locally on your device via secure local storage.
• User Queries & Images: Photos uploaded for AI Fish Disease Diagnosis or Species Identification, and text messages sent to our AI Chatbot Assistant.

B. Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Location Data: Used solely to fetch localized weather updates and disaster warnings for fish farmers.
• AdMob Analytics: Anonymous ad interaction statistics processed by Google Mobile Ads SDK.

2. Third-Party Services & SDKs

Fish Diary integrates trusted third-party services:

• Google AdMob: Serves banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob collects device advertising IDs and interaction data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini AI API: Processes water quality queries, disease scanning images, and chatbot prompts securely without storing PII.

3. Permissions Requested

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required for weather updates, AdMob ads, and AI processing.
• CAMERA: Required to scan diseased fish or species photos.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required to pick photos from gallery.
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Used to fetch localized weather forecasts.

4. Data Control & Retention

Fish Diary does not require account registration. All pond records remain saved locally on your mobile device and can be cleared at any time via App Info -> Clear Storage.
